Xiamen Chazen Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd. (Chazen) is a Chinese CRO focusing on real-world study (RWS) with multiple real-world data sources in China including regional EHR databases, claim databases and tier 3 hospitals from Xiamen, Tianjin, Chongqing, Shanghai city, Fujian province and etc. Chazen’s data sources have the following advantages: (1) Geographic representativeness - they cover eastern, southeastern, central-western, and southwestern regions of China, providing a diverse population base; (2) Data scale - collectively, they encompass tens of millions of individuals, ensuring sufficient sample size for each specific project; (3) Established collaboration and data accessibility - Chazen has many previous projects experience with each database in many therapeutic areas such as respiratory, vaccines, chronic diseases and oncology; (4) Data relevance - all databases contain structured EHRs, diagnostic codes, medication records, vaccination data, and demographic variables necessary for exposure, outcome, and covariate assessment; and (5) Data quality and timeliness – Chazen’s data sources have demonstrated high completeness, and standardization, supporting robust retrospective cohort analysis.
